This session is the most popular with our seniors. As the name states, it is a hour session. There is a combination of indoor studio shots as well as outdoor shots in our local sets at the studio. You gets up to 4 outfit changes!
30 Minute Photoshoot: $50
This session includes a 30 minute indoor session at our studio. The senior has only one outfit change, which is usually a yearbook outfit. If time permits, we will also snap a FEW casual shots in the same outfit. *Minimum order of $150 required.*
On-Location Shoot: $75
Do you need a little more time than an hour? You are only a senior once, so let us capture what you do best this year-BEING YOU! This session includes an additional 45 minutes to your session. You can have up to 2 additional outfits and we will go anywhere up to 15 miles from our studio! If you are thinking of somewhere outside of 15 miles, call us for a quote.
We have several options for you to go on location- rail-road tracks, your house, a barn, the junkyard, or your high school! Those are only suggestions, so if you have something else in mind-let us know!
Preparing for Your Session
Solid colors photograph best. Solid colors draw attention to your expression instead of your outfit. We recommend solid colors for your yearbook shot.
Variety is important. If one of your outfits is light colored, bring another that is dark. If one is more dressy, bring another that is casual. If one is short-sleeved or sleeveless, bring another that's long-sleeved. You get the idea. Outfit variety helps make your portraits more interesting.
What colors work best? Just about any color photographs well. If you're not sure about how a particular outfit will look, bring it along and Pati and her staff will help you to pick.
Most importantly, wear what you like and what makes you feel good! If you like what you have on, you'll love your portraits!
Come to your session wearing your first outfit.
Pay special attention to your eyes and lips when it comes to makeup. These are the first features people see in your portraits. Be careful with glitter. It looks pretty in person, but shows up as white dots in your pictures. Clear or colored lip gloss adds to your picture and gives your lips a POP!
It's very important that you avoid spending too much time in the sun before your session. It's almost impossible to fix sunburn or peeling in your pictures. Tan lines from swimsuits or tank tops can be corrected, but at your expense.
If you are usually clean shaven, make sure you shave before your pictures. Our lights will pick up each and every hair on your face. If you usually have some stubble, that's fine, but just know, it will be very visible on your face.
